Valkyrie begins their 2010 season with # 2 ranked Yuka Tsuji (22-1) defending her Valkyrie 115-lb Title against # 7 ranked Megumi "V1" Yamaguchi (5-2). Yamaguchi won her shot at the title by winning a 4-woman tournament, defeating Emi Fujino in April and then Kyoko Takabayashi in July (Takabayashi had defeated Windy Tomomi to advance to the finals). Also, on the card will be the first round of a 4-woman 105-lb tournament featuring Naoko Omuro (10-7-3), Yuko Takagi (0-1), Fukuko Hamada (5-3) and Yasuko Tamada (9-4-3).
