Returning after a two year layoff, Erin Toughill (10-2-1) makes the first step of her journey as she looks to work her way back into Strikeforce and a shot at Cris Cyborg and the title. Standing in her way is Ashley Sanchez (1-3), who is returning from a three year layoff herself.
Also on the fight card, Amanda Lucas (1-1) welcomes Heather Martin (0-0) to the cage. Lucas defeated Christen Bedwell in her last outing, while Martin will be making her pro debut after a successful amateur career. Another female fight on the card pits Sarah Maloy (2-0) vs Avery Vilche (1-5-1-1). Maloy scored an armbar submission in her last outing against Charlene Smith at FCF 45, while Vilche will be looking to end a four fight losing streak. |
