As we watch the female battle on the UFC have you ever thought about the struggles the female fighters went through to get on fight cards back in 2001 to the present? The fighter girls website was the beginning for females to come and talk about female MMA. The fighters and fans found a home at Fighter girls where they could share stories, chat, and praise the fighter that they loved! Most websites back in 2001 were mostly male dominated and really did not want females to fight even Dana white current president of the UFC said he will never have females on the UFC card! These female fighters went through a big struggle and this information and forum is still free to all people interested in the female mixed martial arts history and how these female fighters won the hearts of the fans to get to fight on the biggest card in the world the UFC.
I have always loved history and when it comes to female Martial arts there is a lot of history for those that want to read what the fans and fighters have to say about female mixed martial arts. In 2001 pro fighter Debi Purcell build a website dedicated to just female MMA this website is the worlds first and still stands today for those that still love female MMA! The old forum still has great topics from fighters and fans talking about their fights, the fight cards that allow women to be on them, and some really fun drama about female MMA. There are over 50,000 topics on the forum so be prepared to do a lot of reading when it comes to female MMA history! I find the forum really interesting how fast female MMA fighters gain the fame from the fans while being on the top of their game and when they are not on top how fast the drop or just disappear from all social media and news!
I hope you can find some time for those that are interested in the history of female MMA and the worlds first female mixed martial arts website since 2001 this website s dedicated to the female fighters and fans of women’s MMA! There was never a website build for female MMA in 2001 so please enjoy the history and struggles of female martial arts.
