Sounds like it’ll be a little bit better than the first one. More experienced fighters.

If it is anything like the technique and the action that was like in Jeff’s show than it will be awesome. Count me there.

Jeff posted this on MMA.tv ….

Getting MASSIVE responses for the women’s event from Japan, Australia, UK, Brazil and mostly U.S.

After the other night, people seem to be pumped!

I think the show is almost full. I’ll start matching up in the next couple of weeks.

Hoshino and Yabushita have been offered. Also THREE Smack Girl fighters (one of which is incredible).

Someone had this to say about Hoshino
Holy girl grapplers, batman! If those are some of the names you’re considering, it sounds like it’ll be a stellar show. I think US audiences will love Hoshino’s game, solid control on the ground and insane head kicks standing.

Question : Is Jennifer Howe going to be on the card?

Jeff Osbourne : She’s definitely in! It’s a matter of getting an opponent.

I’ve asked Debi Purcell but she says she’s fighting in Japan.

Marloes Coenen is the second option for Jennifer.
Sherdog responded with : Debi is still waiting for a offer…..

My girl Franchesca will fight at the Nov.hooknshoot, she’s definately going to be ready for it,we looked over some of the shots WE HAVE from her fight(which were not posted anywhere yet ),and the one’s particularly when the first round opened, the two kicks and some toe to toe exchanges were very awesome. She is VERY strong(she’s just starting to notice)and she will use it next time, also, her grappling will be refined and used as well. She was kind of nervous before the fight as she only had a couple of mos. training and this being her first pro fight. She really IS a good grappler, but didn’t have quite the experience as Del,who took advantage of Frankie when she rolled over and exposed her back,Frankie normally puts you in her guard(which damn near made me run out of air)those legs are powerfull and she doesn’t tire even when she tightens them up.She has learned from this, and definately thanks Del for the fight.I think Frankie did very well, and although some have made comments like”made quick work of Franchesca”as in one of the links posted on this board, she deserves better recognition then that, and I will climb into the ring and put that chump on the canvas in a heartbeat if he makes comments like that in the future-and I’m just a measily street fighter .She is going to be good for this sport, everyone on here(fightergirls) has said positive things about her, including Del,she thanks/respects you all and can’t wait to get back in the ring.

Congrats again to Frankie who was very game and a very tough opponent. With out question, she will be a force in the women’s division. Regarding the comments of the reporter, I wouldn’t be too harsh on him because it’s unlikely that his comments were meant to be derogatory. It sounded like he was giving his observation timewise, not as to whether it was an easy fight with no opposition. That’s just my humble opinion. Tell Frankie I wish her all the best. 😀

Btw, is her name Francesca or Franchesca?

a couple days ago on Jeff Osbourne said that the event will have a couple of headliners guys fighting to make sure to draw in plenty of numbers. It sounds like it’s going to be a successful event.

Correct. It will be mostly women fights and a couple headliner men fights. He didn’t get specific about it. It was at the very end when Ryan was asking Jeff to overview his upcoming shows.

According to Monte Cox an offer has been made to Jennifer Howe but it has not been signed yet and is still in negotiation.

I’d be interested to see what some of these girls are being offered. I talked to several ppl – I know one girl who fought on the first one was offered $300 to return BWAHAHAHAHA LMFAO Are you kidding? It’s not even worth that to take off work – let alone the training involved!

You know, that’s a slap in the face. Yeah, yeah, everyone has to start somewhere – but you gotta draw a line. The promoter knows that some of these girls are SO desperate to fight on a card that they’ll fight for shit $$$ – that’s what they’re banking on. Considering what he’ll make off just selling the tape – I am sure he could afford to give the ladies a bit more. If your smart you treat your talent well and they’ll return. Even what the top/headliners are being offered….it’s ridiculous.

I believe Jeff HAS posted on here.

Well Greta, I guess that depends on what YOU’RE getting paid.

Did you even READ the first post that I wrote? Getting “screwed” is soley based (IMO) ON WHAT YOU ARE GETTIN PAID, Greta. So…how can I “answer your question” IF I DON”T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE GETTING PAID.

No one’s saying to post it – you can email if you want.
