WHERE ARE ALL THE 145 LBS + FEMALE MMA FIGHTERS AT?

I TRAIN MMA FIGHTER JEN CASE. SHE HAS BEEN TRAINING 6 DAYS A WEEK SINCE HER LAST FIGHT ON JUNE 3RD, 2005.

BECAUSE OF FIGHTS BEING CANCELLED DUE TO INJURIES TO HER OPPONENTS SHE NOW HAS NO ONE IN THE FUTURE TO FIGHT.

ARE THERE ANY 135 TO 140 LBS FIGHTERS WILLINGLY TO STEP UP AND FIGHT IF JEN CAN GET DOWN TO 145 LBS?

Ah…. and I got all hopeful when I saw the message subject 😳

    I am around 149lbs and would happily fight Jen… except for the facts that;

1/. I’m a bloke (and they probably don’t allow Male vs Female, do they?)
2/. I’m not a professional MMA (and hence don’t know about the above bit)

So yeah – I’d really love to help, but…. 🙁

    Good luck finding matches,
    Woody.

    HI SurfingGracie.

Here are a list of fighters that are in that weight class, that might be of help. Erin Toughill, Merlos Cohnen, Kelly Kobald, Michelle Farrow (Grapple Girl) I think most of them would be willing to take a fight. I am going to keep my eye out for you.

I also might be up to it at 145 later in the year. I am working on a fight here in cali at 135 for Feb, and after that will consider beefing up for this fight lol.

I forgot Judy Neff is also looking for a fight. If you can get Jen down to 140 at least for weigh ins I bet you would have an easier tme getting some of the girls who fight at 135 to give up the extra 5 lbs.

What event are you trying to find her a fight for, and what is the date ?

…OR, you can go to the FighterGirls.net home page and click Fighters, then select the 135-145 weight division and go from there. I know some of the fighters don’t bother to leave any contact info, but surely you’ll find sombody. Also, check out http://www.tuffgrrlz.com and http://www.fighterline.com

    Lots of luck! 😉

How many fights has Jen had? We have a girl around that weight that will be having her first fight in about a month. If Jen hasn’t had to many fights we’d be interested in setting something up.

Greta got a pinched nerve. How does one remedy that?

Greta got a case of yellow belly-itis. This is the second time she has back out of a fight against me. Saying she pinched a nerve and couldn’t train. On the gladators website she was interviewed a week ago. She said she was training hard and was going to hit me so much i forgot my submissions. Apparently Greta’s mouth was writing checks her ass couldn’t cash.

My injury has been documented over a month ago, and I was sure It would work itself out in training and physical therapy. Adrian Serrano pulled me out of this fight, so you will have to wait until February to see me, my yellow belly, and my fists up close! 😀

Be sure to keep in touch., Jen

For the record, Greta IS injured and this is not the only fight she has pulled out of due to the injury. She was slated to compete at the EGO Invite in Indianapolis and was unable to do so….I saw her last weekend and a neck injury is NO JOKE.

Jen, I think you are a great fighter and I wish you luck in finding opponents (believe me I know what it’s like to have people pull out of fights.)

However, you are WAY off base here.

    Jen,

When is your fight? I’m scheduled to fight Nov. 6th for boxing…and depending on when yours is, if I can get to 155 (which I am sure I can), I will fight. Lemme know
