I’m looking forward to seeing video of the fights somewhere. Will video be posted on Youtube? Especially want to see the Pullen / Evinger fight.

The way I heard it (from the MSNBC series and another source), Pullen got her collar bone broken in their first fight and it was declared a KO or TKO because of that. A description I read on the web said it was a KO from punches and it sounded like it happened differently.

Either way, I hope Pullen does better this time.

I looked at the website for the fatal femmes fight, and it looks like it’ll be shot on HD video, so I assume a videotape or DVD will be available. If it can be seen on pay per view, I might be interested, but I need information on that. Like what channel and time, what to tell my local cable company, etc.

Or if it comes up on youtube I’d watch it there, but I doubt the video quality would be very good.

Anyone know anything about all this?

I don’t know the full results but Roxanne won by split decision, Lisa won by decision, and Jen Case won by armbar in the 2nd round.

What weight did Pullen and Evinger fight at? Are they going to release weigh in photos or any photos of the event?

The most recent info I have says Pullen was about 115 and Evinger was about 135, although that could have changed.

Still hoping someone puts up a link for some video, especially of the Pullen / Evinger fight, I’d like to see what a “most intense ko ever” (as foxylicious wrote) looks like! And video of the other fights too, of course.

I’ve looked at the website for the fight organizer, and the JIMM LLC people that filmed it, but finding a definite email or phone # to call to buy a DVD of the fights has been difficult.

pullen weighed in at fought at 135lbs but only weighed in at 124lbs. i believe her opponent weighed in at 133. the comission almost didnt allow it because pullen was so far under, but they ended up with in 10lbs of each other so it was allowed.

the pullen ko was intense because she was out and twitching on the ground for what seemed like a minute or two. it was pretty gnarly!

Yes Roxanne, I forgot to mention it before, but congratulations on your victory! And the other girls who fought and won also, of course.

I looked at the Pullen / Evinger photos, and from what I can see in them, it looks like she took a punch to the jaw and went down from that. Must have been one good hard shot!

I’ll still try to get a DVD of all the fights if the J.I.M.M. LLC production company is going to release it.

Nice to see a straightforward, non-judgemental nor demeaning report from a mainstream TV station ( and presumably a CBS affliate).

Does this mean women’s MMA in California is now safe from the politically correctness lobby in CA?
