    Angela Magana vs Lynn Alvarez
    Round 1
Magana and Alvarez went toe-to-toe early, with both fighters connecting often. Alvarez got a takedown and took side-control before transitioning to Magana’s back, where she looked unsuccessfully for a rear-naked choke. Alvarez got free of the position and landed some strikes from the top. The fighters went back to their feet, where Alvarez landed two hard shots before the bell sounded to end a close round. 10-9 for Alvarez.

    Round 2
Magana took the fight to the ground with a well executed trip takedown with underhooks. Alvarez swept Magana, but was immediately caught in a fight-ending armbar at 1:25 of the second.
    Kaitlin Young vs Sarah Schneider
    Round 1
The ladies trade in the center of the cage but nothing lands solidly. Schneider scored a takedown and went for three armbars, but Young defended well and escaped danger every time. A scramble allowed Young to get back to her feet, where she blasted her opponent with a left kick to the head and a right hand. Schneider was hurt but survived and got another takedown. Young ended the round landing leather from Schneider’s guard. 10-9 for Kaitlin Young.

    Round 2
Young dropped Schneider with a straight left in the opening seconds of round two. Young, looking to finish her opponent, pounced with punches to her fallen opponent. Schneider again recovered quickly and slapped on an armbar from her guard. Young struggled but was forced to tap at the 0:35 mark of the second stanza.

Nah, it was changed last week. Sara mostly works as an instructor at the Kansas City dojo she runs with her husband. Her only previous pro fight was for a promotion in Kansas City. So she’s not really a pro fighter per se but she obviously knows what she’s doing.
