headline article listing three cancellations that have hit the November 8th event.

Jeff is also asking for some fighters to fill in.

    Is all this true?

    F*CK!!!

I do not envy Jeff Osbourne.

That man does not deserve any criticism for not paying fighters enough. He is taking a risk by doing the all-female events to begin with. I think he is going to take a loss on this event. I only hope that he makes some money from DVD sakes to cover his losses. I don’t expect that the DVD would sell as well Jennifer Howe vs Heather Soderquist missing from the card.

This is no knock on any of the fighters who pulled out, of course. It’s just too bad that this card had problems this late in the planning. It seems as though the UFC (UFC 50) virus has spread to HooknShoot with injurise and surprise drop outs from the card.

I had just finished trying to console Heather, when I went and read that on Sherdog. I guess I need some consoling myself. I don’t even know what to say right now. I’ll be back later.

Executioner-Doubt there is enough time for visa applications. Also adds a couple hundred dollars per fighter, depending on if they submit applications as tourists or as a business trip like fighting. Tourism visas are much cheaper but if you get caught you won’t come back and the promoter is fined a couple thousand dollars. I know this since I live in DC area I get the visas for some fighters going to Europe from the embassys in my back yard.

Don’t think I can do or say anything to make it better but I’m bummed anyway.

    Okay, You’re right!
I’m sure there are lot of female fighters in USA (reserves) around that are willing to take a chance to take the spots there!
Ofcourse Jeff would have some other names in his hat.
It’s a big dip but I’m sure there are some other options.
