It starts in the beginning of the second round. My coach couldn’t fit in the full 13 or so minutes, so he cut the first round. I was like “excuse me? Do the whole thing, just separate them,” so he promised to do it, but hasn’t gotten around to it yet ~_~

Great fight, better than any from the last UFC. Was your conditioning at it’s best ever? You were totally relentless.

Wow. I’m speechless. I’d love to see some more of your fights, Roxanne.

That was the slickest triangle setup, I’ve ever seen in an mma fight- Really sweet.

A great video – would cause just about anyone to become a mma fan. Constant and vigorous action and – particularly on Roxanne’s part – thoroughly skillful technique. Have to wonder why there have been comparatively few comments here.

It looked like a close fight during the portions of the bout that the two were upright. When Roxanne was able to bring the fight down to the mat Jan appeared over-matched.

A decisive triangle choke. Querry: when a fighter taps out in response to a triangle choke is it ordinarily because of the discomfort being inflicted or because the chokee is close to getting unconscious?

sure looks like Howe was about to have a crippled arm. VERY fortunate that that didn’t happen.

Here is the entire fight, not just the second and third rounds.
Yeah, I’m glad her arm was okay.

Querry: when a fighter taps out in response to a triangle choke is it ordinarily because of the discomfort being inflicted or because the chokee is close to getting unconscious?<—- It depends on the person. It could be both or either.

BTW just for everyone’s reference, at one point I looked at the ref and said “She’s not tapping! She’s not tapping!” and he didn’t stop, nor did she tap, so I continued to slowly apply pressure. The last thing I wanted to do was break her arm. She later told me when I met her at the Abu Dhabi that I didn’t have the angle right.
