Sorry, it’s Christmas so maybe nobody’s posting.

You’re giving us an extremely broad topic here so I dont even know where to start.

    Some big promotions:
Japan- Smack girl, G-shooto, Cross section are all all-female women’s MMA events

The U.S.A. IFC, King of the Cage, Mass Destruction, Reality Fighting, Ring of Combat, and others have had single women’s bouts on the card

weight divisions and rules: usually it’s 115, 125, 135, and 145 and open. So women have to be at those weights in order to fight.

Rules: In Smack girl , you have 30 seconds to fight on the ground before they stand you up. and you can only punch to the body on the ground. No elbows. And you wear big shooto gloves. In G shooto you can punch to the head on the ground, and wear the shooto gloves. I forget what weight.

In IFC, you can punch to the head on the ground like PRIDE..and wear Pride gloves and elbow. The other ones I mentioned you can do the same thing. But you can’t do elbows in Mass Destruction, I don’t think….

For the main event in IFC, it’s 5 five minute rounds. In non title fights I think it’s 2 five minute rounds. The other promotions are also 2 five minute rounds. I think.

    How is that? 🙂
