    hey all
    I train MMA/BJJ now almost 3 months. I have 2 1/2 years kickbox ecperience.
    I the 2 1/2 years that i did kickboxing i never had a injury.
after 3 weeks i was training MMA/BJJ i had already an injurie just under need my ribs. Firts i tought it was a little bit of muscle pain, thats normal when you just start training, but than the next morning i couldnt get out my bed, and had this for 3 weeks before i could finaly start training again.
I do my stretching, warm up and cooldown.
My traininer said it is a grapple pain. I train a lot and hope to have my first fight somewhere next year. But i cant have this kind of injuries that slows my down in my training.
    any sugestions?

sounds like you over strained something. That’s very common. Does it still hurt? Is it getting better?

i feel good again, and train hard again.
But i also tought, that it was because i grappled with a guy that was twice the site and weight of me, and we had to come out of the gard, he just squeezed as hard as he could. and maybe because i tried as hard as i could to come out, i hurt a muscle.
I just try to find out how those injury happens so i know how to train without getting injuries.
and maybe, yes, maybe i overtrained.
