WORLD EXTREME FIGHTING SLAMS INTO THE ORLEANS ARENA, LAS VEGAS Saturday, June 10th

LAS VEGAS (May 11, 2006) — One World…One WORLD EXTREME FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP, is back by popular demand at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, Jun 10th at 8:00 PM.

True to their credo, WEF Championship will have Mixed Martial Arts match-ups between world-class fighters from Holland, England, Spain, Thailand, Mexico, and United States.

World renown Muay Thai instructor, Grand Master Toddy, will have three fighters on this card, including WEF Champion, Marvin “The Beastman” Eastman, who was defeated in a non-title bout on April 1st by Chicago’s Jason Guida. This is the rematch; but, this time it’s for the Light Heavyweight WEF World Title. Also fighting that evening will be one of Nevada’s finest, Office Chris Kennedy from the Las Vegas Police Department who will take-on Ben Saunders from the American Top Team. And if that’s not enough, the evening will also feature the first female MMA fight in Nevada with two beautiful, but tough, female combatants: local favorite Gina Carano vs. Leiticia Pestova of Scottsdale, AZ.

The card will also introduce to American fans the outstanding Fyeet brothers from the famous Team Schreiber of Holland, along with the 18 year old, 7 foot tall Stefan Stuve.

Rounding out the evening’s 12 bout card are former UFC, WEF, Shooto, and Pride veteran Paul Rodriguez returning to the cage to fight Adam Arrendondo of Dallas, TX who defeated Vegas’ JR Sims on April 1st. Also, Thonglor Armatsema from Thailand vs. former K-1, Kickboxing veteran Danny Steele from Hawaii. WEF President Jamie Levine predicts, “Armatsema vs. Steele to possibly be one of the best bouts of the evening. Someone is going to SLEEP!”

The complete “Live” and “Unedited” program will also be broadcast globally on Broadband for Pay Per View (PPV) by B2 Network, a leader in the broadcasting of live sporting events via broadband globally. PPV viewers will have the option of selecting WEF commentators in English or Spanish. An edited and delayed program of the event will also be seen on domestic and international TV.

WEF’s dedication to the growth of this newly sanctioned sport and its broad fan base is reflected in their commitment to keep admission prices affordable. Tickets start as low as $48.00 and ringside floor seats are only $128.00.

WEF supports the city’s various union organizations (Laborers Local 872, Cement Masons Local 797, and Iron Workers Local 433) by offering discount tickets for their members and families, plus an opportunity to raise funds for union charities.

Last, but by no mean least, WEF provides delicious eye candy with beautiful, smile Ring Girls, who have graced the pages of Playboy magazine, provided by Clinique Plastique Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon Dr. Frank Stile.

Gina Carano is a very talented muay thai fighter (she performed well in the K-1), cool that she is moving into MMA.
