Tara LaRosa won a UD lastnight over Julie Kedzie.
The first rd was close with some striking from both girls then some clinch work against the fence. Tara seemed to be able to control the clinch a bit more with foot stomps and keeping Julie against the fence. The rd ended with Tara getting the TD.

Rd 2 saw Kedzie get a armbar catch postion from the bottom only to get her guard passed. Tara spent most of the rd trying to strike and work for a RNC as she has Kedzie back.

Rd 3 was Tara pulling guard and Kedzie staying back kicking at the legs. Julie did a real good job all night staying tight while on the ground to avoid any subs.

All 3 judges had it for LaRosa

Congrats to both girls! It sounds like Julie did a great job! I’m sure it’s not easy to go the distance with Tara!

If one judge has the fight a draw, isn’t it a Majority Decision and not unanimous? Serious question.

I’ve yet to see a Kedzie fight and I imagine myself a close follower of women’s MMA..tsk tsk. Can anyone feed me some fights?
