She beat 3 top opponents this year to stand with 3 titles.

    Reality Fighting – Amanda Buckner
Ring of Combat – Roxanne Modafferi
Smackgirl – Megumi Yabushita (beat Tevi Say the same night too)

    That is pretty impressive!

Yes, but with all the talk recently about women fighting men, I have one thing to say.
I don’t care how good she is, I bet that if she seriously fought me, I would…

Awe hell, who am I kidding? She would submit my sorry ass in less than a minute.
    🙄

It is great to Laura win and become World Champion! I wrote an article about her for this site a while ago and have known her since (although she disappears for a while…un fortunately all women seem to do that with me, hahahaha). She is still very nice, very genuine, committed to this sport and very committed to her family. Even when not training for a fight she is in top condition! (Funny how all top athletes, winners, maintain top shape and diet right off season and during the season.) Behind the kind eyes and smile, she exudes confidence and total control. I knew she would be the best.

On other thing…words to Laura, you are the Champ and typical you, you will fight anyone…stay focused on big names, champions. Debi Purcell (Deb, i love ya, but…) has not fought is a long time due to injuries. She is a big name, great ambassador to the sport, but Laura, focus on the international, actively fighting stars! Then, as I have suggested to you in the past, take this success and ‘celebrity’ and use it open a TSK on the Upper East Side of Manhattan! I will be your head janitor.
