What do you do on your lunch breaks at work?

I work midnights and get an hour for lunch. Most of the time I will go for a 3-4 mile run, shower, eat and continue on with work. Usually makes me feel pretty good for the rest of the night and also helps me sleep good when I get home in the morning. I usually take my break around 2am.

If I don’t run that night for some reason, at my job here, we have a weight room. Usually I will go in there and work abs.

    What do YOU do?? 😯

Well, I’m a student so I don’t get lunch breaks, but when I did my summer job, I had an hour out of the office. I usually either ate food at my desk and then powerwalked around the city, or ate out with my dad or coworkers and then was sad that I couldn’t powerwalk around the city. I went back to my desk and felt fat. Then nonchelantly walked a couple laps around the office. LOL I need to walk after I eat.

    omg…people still powerwalk?
I thought that went out of style in the 90’s!

    😉

I remember going to the local mall once right when it opened (I dropped off a friend at work) and I saw all of the crazy mall power walkers doing their rounds. That freaked me out! The first time I ever saw that.

lol, I would just feel old is I powerwalked. I rather job and I hate running period. I just know I have to do it.

Didnt do anything on my lunch break last night. I wasnt allowed to eat for 12 hours cause of a doctors app but I couldnt hold out. When you are used to eating every 2-3 hours, 12 hours was KILLING me! SO, I was to weak to train and it was also making me tired. BUT like I said, I couldnt hold out so I ended up eating! DOH!

Today is a new day ……. and I know I know Im going to PAY for my punishment of not training yesterday.

Exactlly! I LOVE working nights cause I get to sleep when you all have to wake up and drag yourselves out of bed! HAHA!

I wake up around 4pm, train from 6-9pm, come home, shower, eat then go to work from 11-7am. I fall asleep as soon as I get home.

Other than the little bit of training at work, I train MON-FRI, rest on SAT and train again on SUN.

I throw my social live in when I can. I am never really a sitting duck, I ALWAYS have to be doing something ……… even if its sleeping 😀 I love sleeping 8)

At the moment, I’m just going to a solarium at lunch and then walking around the area. I work in the coolest area of brisbane (Aus) Its called southbank and it basically prklands/beach made right across the river from the city, its so beautiful and relaxing and a great way to get out of the office for an hour

Mandy ……. I live in Detroit where I have people on the streets getting shot every day, 13 year olds buying drugs from dealers, crack heads walking around asking you for change, 20 degree weather with wind and snow. I dont have what you have to look at. STOP RUBBING IT IN!

    😀 😀 😀 😉 😉 😉
