I saw this film last night,
at First, I assumed it would be a loser of a film, but I really liked this film a lot. The acting was A Class. I love Eastwoon in this film. Along with Freeman. and Hillary Swank . I heard she put on 20 lbs of muscle for this film. and it showed.

I spotted some boxers. St John, maybe babydoll riley/ and of course Lucia Riker plays her part well ;-).

I was very suprised at the end of this film. Not what I expected. and left in tears.. ( bring tissue) OK so Im a big WUSS. and it was a lil hollywood.

Bottom line go see this film. its worth its, and will really open your eyes to poor sportsmanship in fighting.

i thought the actors were great. i got a chuckle out of the constant definition of a fighter. but i hated the ending. just ‘cuz i’m tired of drama.
nothing against the movie – just personal stuff. swank, eastwood & freeman rocked.

I wish I had walked out before it ended. I loved it sooo much until the middle end, and then it depressed and upset me a lot. I don’t know how I can go workout Muay Thai now. -_- stupid movie. grar. Maybe because I associated myself with it, since I’m a girl fighter and there was the whole coach-trainer relationship thing….
it almost made me want to farking quit. lucky I love fighting too much.

you can tell i’m really pissed off, lol

    😥

I just had a great Muay Thai class, so there ends my disillusionment.

    It still bothers me, though.

The film’s about boxing right? So why did it make you not want to do Muay Thai??? (don’t spoil it for me though! i have to wait until Feb before it comes out in NZ…)

Well, boxing, muay thai kickboxing, same difference. 🙂 It was a well done movie. I’m just super sensitive about stuff. stuff meaning everything. 😛 you’ll have to wait and see, I guess.

I just BARELY avoided completely busting out sobbing (note the difference between sobbing and crying… I CRIED through the whole movie… silently…vs. sobbing = loud and obnoxious choaking tears)…. WHY oh WHY did I take a guy to the movie with me?! I am impressed, yet annoyed with the male ability to hold back tears during one of the saddest movies I’ve ever seen.

And lol… did anyone else find themselves moving their head during all of the fight scenes!? I was like, “The person behind me is HATING me right now!” 😆

But but but…. she’s a southpaw! Although she did change stances a couple times I think… (yay for southpaws)

yeah, she was a south paw. I was waiting for eastwood to correct her stance, but then realized she just *was*.

There’s no WAY it’s on DVD here in the states. It’s still in the theaters! They NEVER release stuff before it gets out of the theaters. Are you positive?

God, this movie FINALLY came to Indiana and it about broke my heart. I ended up calling my instructor in Vegas (whose fiance had given him the ULTIMATE wedding present–a trip to the UFC with his best friend) at one in the morning and begging him to

    ****************caution, spolier!!!!*****************

…pull the plug IMMEDIATELY if that ever happened to me. I think he was a little confused 😆 😆 😆
