The latest issue of MMA Worldwide has a two page article on Tara LaRosa and a three page article on Amanda Buckner. Both are well written and really give you some insight into these ladies lives.
Go pick it up if you have a few dollars to spare!

I got mine at Barnes & Noble.

I also got to look through the rest of the new MMA mags for the month (Tapout, Fight Sport, Fighter’s Only, Ultimate Grappling, and Real Fighter). Debi Purcell is featured in two of the magazines; a 3 page article in Ultimate Grappling and a half page in another mag. Most all of them cover the last Bodog event with Buckner vs. Akano and Kedzie vs. Berezikova. And Tapout has an article by Kirik Jenness on the state of women’s MMA.

It’s really cool to see female fighters and women’s MMA featured in most of the industry magazines! 8)

I picked up a copy of Grappling with the article about Debi in it!

Very cool to see women being shown as fighters now!!!

I hate seeing the silly us of women as smile objects in skimpy clothes, but at least we are being shown now!
