Hi everyone. This is my first time on the board. GLAD I FOUND IT!

I’m also new to the sport. I am taking Kickboxing and Olympic Style Boxing from great trainers. SO excited. I think I’m too old to even look at competing, as I am 25 with no experience. But I’ve been wanting to kickbox for about 6 years, and so I’ve finally done it.

Excited to get some info on everything!

    😛

    Welcome to the forum!
I don’t know about boxing or kickboxing but you are not too old for MMA. If you want to compete you shouldn’t let age stop you!

    Hi there,

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on joining the martial arts community.

I personally do not think 25 is too old for serious competition, but it all
depends on the individuals’ body. Pay more attention to how well you recover after hard training and things like that.

Best of luck in your training and have fun on the board, it is a great resource. If you have a question, most likely at least one person will have an answer 🙂
