    Hi guys

In your opinions, whether they are Japanese/ American/ European…

Who do YOU think the highest profile Smackgirl fighter is?

Your opinions would be very much appreciated, I’m simply conducting a straw poll among the informed 😉

    Thanks

Is it required for the fighter to be known across different countries?

no, not necassarily. however, if the fighter you think is the highest profile happens to be japanese/ american/ whatever, then simply state why you think that is the case 🙂

ie, laura d’auguste hold the title, but is she as widely known among the local fans as she is the nethounds and world wide followers? is nanchanchin still dearest in everyones hearts? that kind of stuff…

please guys don’t be shy, this would help me no end, as I’m writing a piece on Smackgirl…

It’s probably Yuka Tsuji. She wears a shirt that says “Vale Tudo Queen” that no one can really argue with. She’s been consistently winning since 2002. She armbarred Erica Montoya in a rarietiy… a full vale tudo rules Smackgirl fight. Just the fact that she was chosen to represent in such a special rules match says what kind of confidence the company has for her.

Laura D’Auguste is relatively new for the promotion having only fought in one event, but her importance will only grow. At the moment though the Vale Tudo Queen is the most high profile fighter.

It’s either Tsuji or Megumi Fujii.
