Hey Sunshine…glad to see you’re on this forum.

Can you tell us what your experience was like going against Rijker?
    How come accross that opportunity?
In hindsite, how would you approach the fight differently?

What are your plans after fighting Rijker?

    Thanks

Thanks for posting the pics. I haven’t seen those.

    What would I do different?

If taking a fight overseas, I’d ask to get there a few days before the fight. When we got to Amsterdam I wanted to sleep all day and stay up all night. I would have needed about 3-4 days to get used to the time difference and get over jet lag.

Also I probably won’t be taking another fight at 140. I normally fight at 147 and that’s hard for me, so cutting to 140 just about killed me.

Rijker’s skills are really unmatched. Women boxers just haven’t been in the sport long enough, but Rijker is the exception. She’s slick, great hand and foot speed and better than 90% of the men I spar with.

Overall it was a good experience. Amsterdam is a fun place! I was simply outboxed, no excuses.

I’ve got a rematch with Lisa Hollewyne scheduled for Nov 20 in OK. It will be for the WIBF 147 pound world title. So that’s what I’m training for now. I’d like to fight Anani in March and were working on getting that finalized…March 12 in MO.
