What are the most sensational knockouts people have seen in women’s boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, or mma? For my money, the boxing knockouts of Vonda Ward by Anne Wolfe and of Aicha Lahsen by Bridget “Baby Doll” Riley are the most spectacular I have seen so far.

For MMA, the HooknShoot 125 lb. title fight bewteen Jennifer Howe and Tara LaRosa.

For kickboxing, Chantal Nadon putting Bambi Burtoncello down for the count with a spinning backfist.

For boxing, none really stand out.

Which of the two, Tara La Rosa or Jennifer Howe, knocked out the other? Was it a one punch knockout?

I am not sure whether La Rosa or Howe won that one. I have seen photos of the Chantal Nadon ko of Bambi Bertoncello. Even though I box (and don’t kickbox), the spinning backfist seems to me to be a most devastating punch. Bertoncello did some boxing also, didn’t she? I haven’t read or heard her name mentioned lately. Nor have I heard Nadon’s. Are they both retired?

Howe beat LaRosa. Howe knocked LaRosa down three times, no standing eight count. You can see this fight on the HooknShoot: Revolution 2 DVD. 8)
