Okay so no more cutting for the tournament….I find myself eating and eating.

HOW DO I STOP!!! ;_____;. I think I gained back like 3 lbs already since i’m not working out at the moment…but everytime I try and tell myself to stop, I think “well…I *CAN* so…CHOCOLATE!”

yeah…I kind of want to maintain 140 lbs or something. plus I’m sick so I’m like “meh I’m sick….muffins!” I need a frame of mind or something…advice? 🙁

heh my wrestler friend told me that after wrestling season they had the “piggy award” that they gave out at the sports banquet in highschool for who had gained the most weight back between the end of season and two weeks after, which was the banquet. The most was 60 lbs. maybe if I keep telling myself that I can stop… I was almost good last night! I had a Salad! *gasp* but then my fingers found a cookie and a tiny piece of cake on the way out the door… 😥

    Hey Rox,

I’m experiencing the same “post fight binge but then feel guilty because I’ve got to fight in a couple of weeks and can’t be overweight” scenario as we speak. It’s so hard isn’t it – after being so good for so long you just want to taste all those wonderful bad foods again!

My only advice is to work with rewards- i.e. “if i can get through today with out eating anything ‘bad’ then i can have that extra cookie tomorrow”, then by the time tomorrow comes you feel so good that you got through the previous day that you don’t want that extra cookie afterall…. well it’s kind of working for me so far! (at the moment i’m on the “if i can get through this week without eating any chocolate i can have a WHOLE chocolate bar on Saturday…”.

Also maybe it would be a good idea just to give yourself a week of splashing out, then decide to start cutting back proper next monday? (or don’t you have enough time?). We can’t be saints all the time, we have to have our bad food sometimes else we’ll go crazy!!!

    Good luck anyway 😀

I have a horrible sweet tooth but I find that certain brands of low carb candy bars are pretty good. Both of the brands that I like can be found at WalMart…they are “Carb Watchers” and “Carb O Rite”. All the different flavors are good.
    Hope that helps! 😀

Anthea: I know what you mean! good advice!

I did it! XD I had a salad for dinner! and a soup that probably had cream in it….but what I did was say “Okay I swear I won’t have any more desert today!” which was difficult, but of course I can’t break a promise to myself like that….so yeah. rock on. for today lol

One day at a time eh, that’s all you need to do!

How good is that feeling though when you’re lying in bed at night and know that you’ve been good ALLLLL day. Ah it’s the little things in life that makes me happy haha 😆

ya know…finding motivation is a difficult thing.

Quinton Jackson said on a recent interview at MMAWeekly that he is going to derive motivation by hanging up a picture of himself with a bruised, swollen face and broken nose next to his bed when he wakes up. This was after his fight with Vanderlei Silva.
