Will Matt Hughes be able to defend his title, or will Joe Riggs become a new champ. In my opinion Riggs is not on the level of Matt Hughes, especially on the ground. With that said,

    Hughes by slam/sub

Even though I really want Hughes to lose I know that Riggs doesn’t have a chance against him. I don’t know how Matt will win, I don’t really care, I just hope that Riggs gets in a few good shots!

I’ve just never been a fan (and watching him be an ass on TUF this season didn’t help at all….creative editing or not). I just don’t like smile fighters. I was really hoping Parisyan would put him through the floor.

Gotta go with matt. He is one of the most driven poeple i have ever seen in our gym. It almost seems like he has hit a piont in his career were he is just unstoppable. 😉 Gonna be a good fight though!

I just found out that Joe Riggs failed to make weight after three attempts. Even though Hughes and Riggs will still fight, it will be a non-title bout. Riggs also will be fined 10% of his purse for failing to make weight.
