New to the boards, so here’s the obligatory “hello” post. 🙂
Quick question that I thought some of you might be able to help me with…
Looks like my instructor is feeling that I’ll be ready to fight in a month or so in a kickboxing tournament. I was simply wondering what the weight classes generally are for women?
I’m 5’2”, 140 lbs, and am just trying to gauge the average reach I may be up against.
I looke on the internet, but I couldn’t seem to find anything definate… 🙄
    Any help is appreciated!

Are you looking for kick boxing/boxing wieght classes? Or are you looking for mma weight classes? There dosent seem to be any official weight classes for the women right now. the most common ones right now are 135, and 155. In the past it has simply been refered to as light middle and heavy.
