    Hey all,

After hearing about a very sucessful women’s open mat that took place in Canada, I have decided to follow suit.

I am in the process of setting up a free open mat day here in San Francisco. It will consist of Gi and No Gi training/exchange and a mini seminar. The cost will be FREE!

I have a school here in the city and all women of all skill levels are welcome.

I am looking at Sometime in May of 2005 on a Sunday as a perfect day from 2 pm until ????

Afterwards we can get food or sit and chat or whatever else your little hearts desire.

Let me know who is up for this?

It would be nice to see other open mat exchanges in other parts of the country. In the summer, I will have more free time to travel and would love to participate in other open mat sessions.

    on to training!

Zee, do you have any contact with the Claudio Franca schools? They had held some open mats in the past and might have some interested participants. I think there are several schools in the Bay area.

I used to do some training with Claudio back in 2000. I will contact him or some of the people that I know from the school.

    thanks
