Sara McMann has pulled out of her Strikeforce fight against Liz Carmouche on November 3rd due to an undisclosed injury.
FIGHT RESULTS
Invicta Fighting Championships 3 took place on Saturday, with a stacked card of women's fights. Here are the results: Jessica Pene defeated Naho Sugiyama via 2nd round triangle choke for the atomweight title, Shayna Baszler defeated Sarah D'Alelio by 2nd round rear-naked choke, Leslie Smith defeated Kaitlin Young by 2nd round TKO, Barb Honchak defeated Aisling Daly by unanimous decision, Vanessa Porto defeated Tara LaRosa (who was 2.6 lbs. over weight) by unanimous decision, Cat Zingano defeated Raquel Pennington by 2nd round rear-naked choke, Michelle Waterson defeated Lacey Schuckman by split decision in the Fight of the Night, Julia Budd defeated Danielle West by 1st round TKO, Carla Esparza defeated Lynn Alvarez by 1st round TKO, Joanne Calderwood defeated Ashley Cummins by 1st round KO, earning Knockout of the Night, Stephanie Frausto defeated Amy Davis by 1st round guillotine for one of two Sumbission of the Night bonuses, Jessamyn Duke defeated Marciea Allen by 1st round armbar in the second Submission of the Night, Tecia Torres defeated Kaiyana Rain by unanimous decision, and Ediane Gomes defeated Katalina Malungahu by 1st round rear-naked choke.
Outside of Invicta, Brenda Gonzales defeated Sarah Alpar by unanimous decision at King of the Cage: Stranglehold for the flyweight championship.
