TWO LLOYD IRVIN STUDENTS CHARGED WITH RAPING A TEAMMATE
Matthew Maldonado and Nicholas Schultz are being held without bail on rape charges after being caught on videotape "allegedly" raping a teammate on New Year's Eve.
This incident has brought out information about a 1990 case possibly involving Lloyd Irvin himself, in which someone with the same name (including middle initial) who attended the same college at the same time as the martial arts instructor himself was involved with a gang rape, although he was acquitted on a technicality, due to impotence at the time of the attack.
Lloyd Irvin has responded to the incident by issuing a press release, purchasing the domain LloydIrvinRape.com, and putting out a press release on PRWeb for a rape prevention course he is teaching.
Maldonado and Schultz are being charged with 1st and 2nd degree sexual assault. According to legal documents found on DCcourts.gov, the two men were offered a pre-indictment plea bargain and are "exploring their offer."
A preliminary hearing is scheduled to take place on Friday the 18th at 9:30 AM.
