Yeah Miesha! Love to hear that and thanks for coming on the site.

I guess my wishing you to "sell the fight" died as well as Marloes comments.

I love the fact that you are training at Team Alpha Male. Master Thong will do you right... as well as everyone else.

Go for it and prove everybody wrong!

I've probably said this before in another thread, but I'll say it again. Tate will win. There is no chance for the other girl.

Then finally Tate can take the spot from Gina Carano as the face of Women's MMA.

TATE IS THE FUTURE!!!!!!

If you look at the current betting odds, it's Marloes that's being underestimated mainly because she lives in Europe and doesn't promote herself as much as Miesha. The bottom line is Marloes range of experience is much greater than Miesha. At 19 years of age, Marloes won a major one day tournament in Japan. The halfassed tournament that Miesha won last year doesn't compare. It didn't help her. Some people tried to tell me it was a setup. BTW. I don't believe that. It was just bad matchmaking. Miesha is a good wrestler but we don't know if she can trade punches with Marloes. And when she talks about switching camps, that too is unproven. She THINKS she's better but she doesn't know. So I know what Marloes can do because I've watched her for over a decade and she's been with the same trainer since she was 15 years old. I'm not so sure about Miesha. And so many people including Miesha and the announcers misinterpreted the Marloes vs Liz match. Yes, Liz was winning after three rounds. Who won the fight? That should concern Miesha. Marloes' composure and experience won her that fight. She defended herself well and didn't panic. A lot of that is Martijn's training. He's a sharp dude.

Good luck Miesha.

Female fighters, as well as fans of women's MMA, are relying on you and Marloes to put on a great performance in front of Dana White and co. (I wouldn't be surprised if this is the first female fight that Dana will have watched in person, and you can be sure he'll be watching very carefully.)

You're representing more than just yourselves and your gyms. At the risk of sounding overdramatic, this is one of the most important fights for women's MMA in years, but I believe the two of you are up for it.

I agree that this should be a very interesting fight, and that this is pretty much the most important wmma match to date. It is important that if in fact Meisha has any chance at being the face of wmma that she doesn't do it just through looks but also through talent/toughness. We all know that she can do barely clothed photo shoots, now its time to see if she is really ready to COMPETE. Like i have stated before i would really like to see her win or lose face McMann at somepoint, since i believe that they have the same strengths with McMann obviously being stronger in them. Either way lets hope that these two let the fire works fly and put on a good show.
Frank......still sucks......

You know what? You suck for trying to turn every thread into a Sara Mcmann slurping session. Knock it off. This thread is not about her.

A couple of weeks ago I bet $50.00 for Tate to win.

I have a feeling she's going to grind out a decision.

I really like Marloes though, more than Tate but I want to win some ca$h
