Yes, she signed with Strikeforce and will now be fighting Julie Kedzie on the undercard of Fedor vs Henderson on July 30th.

*The Cage Inc promotion is looking for a replacement fighter to face Shayna.

This has been in the works for a few weeks and as I hear, a replacement for Shayna's match should be announced in a day or two.

How could this be in the works for a few weeks if The Cage Inc. just announced Alexis's participation a few days ago? If Alexis was already in negotiations to fight Julie in Strikeforce, why would she sign on or agree to fight Shayna on the same day, and why would The Cage Inc. announce that fight if they knew it was going to be scrapped within days?

That doesn't make any sense.

I thought something sounded odd... I thought Alexis was already announced to fight Shayna.

While I love Alexis Davis shouldn't Shayna have gotten a SF contract for winning the FCF tourney? I feel both of them should be in SF.
