Hi all. I'm new to the forum and just recently got into mma training. I'm curious about women and cutting weight. For those of you that do cut weight for fights or grappling tournaments, how much weight do you typically cut or does this vary? I'm not sure yet if I want to fight after I've trained for a while, but I'm in the process of trying to lose a few extra pounds anyway, and was curious about that.

I don't think enough women have been cutting long enough to have a standard or typical yet.

I try not to do more than 10% of my body weight... but have done more in the past.
