Fightergirl’s team member and Las Vegas MMA fighter Michele Gutierrez has helped make some MMA history. Herself, along side Felice Herrig, are gracing the new “Supremacy MMA” video game due out this June. (Pre-orders are available at Game Stop.) Featuring the Fightergirls line of clothing, this will be the first time female fighters will be integrated as themselves in an MMA video game.
To help celebrate this, the XFO in Chicago has both Gutierrez and Herrig fighting on the same card with two different opponents coming this Friday, which will be streamed on the Alienware website, live and free. Gutierrez is set to face Amanda LaVoy, while Herrig faces Nicdali Calanoc in the co-main event.
We got the chance to talk to Gutierrez about being apart of the video game, her change of gyms, and her ambitions to take the world by storm in the 125 pound division.
