Finney (8-8), who was a finalist in the Freestyle Cage Fighting 135 pound Grand Prix, is making her way back to the 135 pound division after a tough TKO loss in June to Santos.

Carmouche, a seven year Marine vet who is currently 4-0, is coming off a decision win over Colleen Schneider as an alternate in the Strikeforce women’s grand prix August, plus a tko victory over Valentina Shevchenko at the C3 fights in Oklahoma this past September.

The odds makers have the fight virtually even. Carmouche has great KO power in her punches, but don’t count out the experience of Jan Finney. Carmouche weighed in at 134.4 pounds Thursday night, while Finned initially weighed in at 138.8, but was able to drop to 136.8 pounds after a two hour weight cut.

The match will be broadcast live on Showtime at 7 p.m. pacific.
