ADCC World Championships women fights The 2011 ADCC World Championships took place this weekend in Nottingham, England. Kyra Gracie took gold in the under 60kg division, with Michelle Nicolini taking 2nd place and Luanna Alzuguir in 3rd. Gabi Garcia won 1st place in the over 60kg division, with Hannette Staack taking home the silver and Ida Hansson in 3rd. MMA fighter Cat Zingano was replaced by Vanessa English since she did not make weight. Takayo Hashi defeated Rosi Sexton by points but was later submitted by Kyra Gracie due to a guillotine choke and submitted to an armbar by Luanna Alzuguir in the 3rd place match.
