The Pyramids open tournament in Sept. 28 in Gaza saw Ukrainian fighter Anna Korchagina (Pictured Left) and hometown favorite Noura Swelem battle for the vacant ISKA 60 kg Oriental title. In a close 5 round contest, Korchagina defeated Swelem via 2-1 split decision.

In Bournemouth, England, Absolute Adrenaline had a mixed boxing/mma card on Sept. 20, which had IKF World Lightweight FCR Champion Natalie Bee drop in weight to fight WKA Featherweight title holder Tracey Reno in the main event. It was a back and forth battle, but Bee’s reach became too overwhelming for Reno, and gained Bee the unanimous decision. The under card had Candice Russel defeat Emma Goodwin by points in a K-1 battle.
Lviv, Ukraine saw hometown favorite Olena Ovchinikova defeat champion Iman Chairi Chabalou for the ISKA 40 kg Oriental World title. Ovchinikova, a MMA European champion, had the crowd on her side in the closely contested match. After five rounds, the judges scored unanimously for Ovchinikova, who won one more round than Chairi Chabalou.
