As posted on the UG by Miguel:
“OK – As the promoter for the 6th Submission Wrstling World Championships, schedulked for California next MAY, I wanted to let people know here first:
The ADCC committee has accepted the promoter proposal to expand the World Championships to include women grapplers for the first time!

The ADCC has graciously offered to cover travel and expenses for the ladies competitors, and sponsors are being looked for so that more prize money can be offered than ladies grappling has ever seen.

FORMAT (Subject to change): 4 woman tourney under 60 KG 4 woman tourney over 60 KG 4 Woman Absolute

This will be a very elite, invite only tourney – so ladies get your resumes ready if you are interested!

This will be a press release from ADCC but I was pumped and wanted to let people know here! ”
This is groundbreaking history and just too good to be true!!!

Yeah, Im really looking foward to this as well. Looking to get into it and fight.

Just a shame that there are to many haters (on the UG) and to many guys that wear their pride on their sleeve. They need to put that shit in their pockets and support the females.
