    Hi guys,
I was wondering how much calcium a pro fighter woman should ingest. I read somewhere that 700 per day is necessary, but then you can sweat out like 400 in one hard 2 hour training session, plus calcium is essential to digest and process protein…so my mom was on my case, and I was telling her that I drink lots of milk and eat lots of yoghurt and fish, but maybe I should be taking calcium tablets?

    Hi rox~
Personally; The amount you have sounds right. I dont really see using extra mineral supplements that you dont digest out of food. You are getting great forms of calcium with what you are eating now. One of the best supplement providers is a simple multi-vitamin. If you are more concerned about getting extra doses of vitamins/minerals out of your vitamin- You might want to go through a docter and get a prescribed multi-vitamin; or even through a sports-nutrition store. Just what i thought..:)
