    “Womens 135 lb class
    Linda Langerak
Jennifer Howe Winner, end of round 2 fighter quits”

I assume this MMA ring report note means Langerak or her corner threw in the towel at the end of the 2nd round.

From what I heard, Linda wanted to go back in for the 3rd round but she had some injuries so her corner threw in the towel.

Linda took the fight with only 2 weeks notice but is always in great shape and trains hard.

Here’s a quote from Linda which she posted on another forum:

“All I can say is WOW! What an amazing experience at the AFC last week. Even though the fight with Jennifer Howe came on short notice, there was NO WAY I could turn the opportunity down! There’s just no better way to test yourself than just jump in against the best. I’d do it again in a heartbeat…

I have to send a gigantic thank you to the Kombat Arts Team that prepped me for this match: Joey de Los Reyes, Pain Peters, Little M, and Randy Ferguson… Thanks for everything! Thanks for the beatings, the constructive critism, the support and just for plain old believing in me.

I couldn’t have done what I did without you – so thanks.

Nov “Hook N SHoot” & Judy Neff …. Here I come!! Kombat Girl”
Good luck Linda in future bouts!

P.S. Congratulations Jennifer on your win!
