Tonya Evinger vs. Carina Damm Tonight on the “Fight Hard MMA” event in St. Charles, MO Tonya Evinger is set to fight Carina Damm. This will be the first fight for Evinger at 125.

Evinger’s fights out of Odessa, MO Team Quest/Hit Squad. Her first fight was back in ’06 versus Jennifer Tate for the first ever sanctioned women’s bout by the California State Athletic Commission. She’s been fighting ever since gaining much respect as a fighter with wins over Julie Kedzie, Sarah Schneider, and Ginele Marquez.

Brazilian fighter now fighting out of St. Louis, MO with American Top Team and Sapo Fight Team. Damm is also set to fight four days from today in Sao Paulo, Brazil versus Kalindra Carvalho Faria.
“She’s taking this fight four days before another fight in Brazil,” said Evinger. “I feel disrespected by that.”
Damm is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu and has been fighting since 2004. She has fought for many organizations and many reputable fighters such as Hitomi Akano in Strikeforce and Rosi Sexton in Bodog Fight.
