Tough Chick Fundraiser Sydney was diagnosed with DiGeorge Syndrome which is a depletion of a portion of chromosome 22. At 5 days old, she went into the surgery room for her first of many heart surgeries. Sydney is now 13 and is set to have another surgery October 1st to repair a valve that is failing in her heart. A portion of her heart is a transplant so the tissue will not grow as she grow, thus requiring more surgeries.
Tough Chick Fundraiser
A fundraising event is set to be held 9.28.12 from 6pm-11pm at 115 Bourbon Street (3359 W. 115th st. Merrionette Park, IL 60803). There will be a silent auction (that I will be offering free personal training sessions in), a car raffle and more including food and drink!
